Fabulous, warm, comfy, exceptional quality robe. I couldn't be happier. My cousin from the Netherlands is visiting and she brought the most beautiful pajamas also from Lee Valley! You have an international following.
My second one. The first one was bought in Stockholm and used daily for about 15 years. When It needed to be replaced I looked inside the collar for the shop name tag, found the shop on the Internet and got myself a new one. My life is back to normal again!
I love my flannel robe. Been looking for quite a while for something that has truly long sleeves and full length so was very pleased when I saw this one online. I am 5’7” and it falls close to my ankles which is just perfect. I ordered a 2X according to the sizing chart but could have gotten away with a 1X. Not a problem though. Still fits fine. The robe is a nice weight, perfect for our spring and fall weather. It will probably be ok for winter as well but if not, I have a heavier robe for our freezing cold Canadian winters. I washed it in cold water and hung to dry. There were some wrinkles so I ironed it but that's just being fussy and wanting it to look nice. Delivery was timely and thought it might take longer, so was very pleased when it arrived quickly. All in all it's a great purchase and would highly recommend this cosy robe.
Funny story‚Ķ.I am always hesitant to buy something online from another country as you hear such horror stories about quality, etc. When I saw the name Lee Valley, I thought it was a subsidiary of a company here in Canada called Lee Valley Tools which sells good quality tools and household items. I felt reassured and knew I could just go to see them if there was a problem with my order. They are based in my city. After I had placed the order it dawned on me that what the heck does tools have to do with clothing? I then realized my brain had tricked me, had a good laugh, and kept my fingers crossed. Wasn't disappointed. üòÇ
