This robe is great! I live in the US. I ordered a small. I am 5 feet tall and weigh 95 pounds. It fits me exactly as it is pictured on this web site. It is oversized and warm. Totally lined in fleece. The hem is just below my ankles. However, it has an upper AND lower belt loop on each side; so if I use lower belt loop, the hem is above my ankles and no trip hazard going up the stairs. It will be washed on delicate in cold water and hung up to dry. Never to see inside of a drier. Well made. I am near the Appalachian Mountains in Pennsylvania, US. We can have mornings below 20 degrees F, so this will keep me toasty!! Thank you Lee Valley!

Does this shrink in the wash? Also my girlfriend wears a medium top but has a larger bottom. Would you recommend a large size

A size M may be best in this case but please check on the size guide tab of the product page to double check on the sizing info. Is the lining attached to the outside? Similar robes on the internet state that other robes don't move well because the layers are not attached together.i would like to know if this could also be an issue with this one.
