Authentic Irish Blackthorn Shillelaghs..
A traditional piece of Irish Craft made in Co. Cork. The Blackthorn Shillelagh Stick was originally used many years ago in Ireland to settle disputes. The stick was carried everywhere from fairs, to wakes and patterns (Saints Feast Day). It was also carried by Irish Guards and Army members as well as by Officers of the Fighting 69th regiment of the United States Army National Guard during parades.
It is long considered a badge of honor to carry a Shillelagh and is also known as a Good Luck Charm.
