Hi,
I’m thinking of getting this dressing gown for my mother, but would like to confirm a few things first:
- can you give the me the length of each size or the height which it is suitable for? My mother is only 5 feet in height so I’d like to make sure she’s not tripping up in it.
- how warm is the dressing gown? Most of the cotton dressing gowns I have encountered previously have only been suitable for summer wear, not for winter in an old Irish house. How does it compare to a standard fleece dressing gown?
- your website says that the manufacturing is done in house. Does that include the production of this product or is that outsourced?
I bought some of your wool socks and slippers last year as gifts and they went down a treat. Hoping this dressing gown does the same.
Thanks,
Phoebe

Hi Phoebe, many thanks for your interest in our Flannel Nightrobe. I enclose the Centre Back Length for each size below-
S 124cm M 125cm L 128cm XL 129cm 2XL 132cm 3XL 133cm
Our Flannel Nightrobe in Size S may be the best option for your mother based on height, but you may be able to judge best against the Center Back Length above. But for someone who is 5 feet, this may be still a little long. If you need further assistance on sizing please do not hesitate to contact us at customercare@leevalley.ie
Our Nightrobe is made from heavy flannel and is warm and cosy. However this is not a fleece lined garment and would not compare.
Absolutely, our Nightrobes are made here in Co. Cork Ireland.
We are delighted to hear you are happy with previous purchases!

Hi there. Does the chest measurement on the size chart relate to garment size or body measurements? If I was buying for a women size 12, would that be small or medium? Do I need to go up a size for shrinkage? Many thanks

Hi, many thanks for your interest in our Flannel Nightrobes. For a Womens Size 12, we recommend a Size S in our Nightrobe as our sizing is unisex and also quite generous. Any shrinkage in the flannel will be minimal when washing over time, so we wouldn't recommend sizing up in this case. If you have any further questions please let us know.
